No glamour, no illusion can long hold the man who has set himself the task of treading the razor-edged Path which leads, through the wilderness, through the thick-set forest, through the deep waters of sorrow and distress, through the valley of sacrifice and over the mountains of vision to the gate of Deliverance.
He may travel sometimes in the dark (and illusion of darkness is very real ); he may travel sometimes in a light so dazzling and bewildering that he can scarcely see the way ahead; he may know what it is to falter on the Path, and to drop under the fatigue of service and of strife; he may be temporarily side-tracked and wander down the by-paths of ambition, of self-interest and material enchantment, but the lapse will be but brief.
Nothing in heaven or hell, on earth or elsewhere can prevent the progress of the man who has awakened to the illusion, who has glimpsed the reality beyond the glamour of the astral plane, and who has heard, even if only once, the clarion call of his own soul.

The new world prayer was given by Maitreya in July 1988 is really an affirmation with an invocative effect, and will be a powerful tool in the recognition by us that man and God are one, that there is no separation. By affirming that I am the creator of the universe I can come into consciousness (eventually) that I am God, the true reality.

I am the father and mother of the universe.
Everything came from me.
Everything shall return to me.

In 2003, at the age of eight, American artistic prodigy Akiane Kramarik painted a portrait which she calls ‘Prince of Peace’. On her website she explains how the painting came about.
“It was God’s
timing,’ she says. “I had been looking for a Jesus model for two years, and I
could not find the right face. Then one day I asked my family to pray with me
all day. We petitioned God to send the model right through our front door. The
next day a tall carpenter came in. He was so humble, and I was surprised that
he agreed to model for me. But a week later he called back to say that he was
unworthy to represent his master.
We all prayed
together again, and a few days later he called back to tell us that God wanted
him to do it, but he had to cut his hair and beard in three days. So we took a
few pictures and I studied his face for a long time. After dozens of sketches,
I started painting. It took me 40 hours to finish the first Jesus painting –
the ‘Prince of Peace’ – and I still remember I lost four teeth in that time.”
Jurij Sizenov
Nikolaevich, presenter for the Russian television and radio network Shabolovka,
explained that the television station had compared Akianes’s ‘Prince of Peace’
painting with the computerized image taken from the Turin Shroud that was
hanging in his office. “To our complete shock and marvel,” he said, “we found
virtually an exact match! It is a miracle and it must come from God! There are
no words to describe how a little 8-year-old girl could portray such wisdom,
